Our Courses & Training Programs

Pre-Service Training

The Pre-Service Training programme at DIET Jagraon includes the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course. This programme is designed to prepare future teachers for teaching at the elementary level. The course focuses on child development, pedagogy, classroom management, teaching methodologies and practical teaching experience through school internships. The D.El.Ed. programme aims to develop competent, skilled and dedicated teachers who can effectively contribute to quality elementary education.

Leadership Training

Leadership Training focuses on developing leadership qualities among educators. This training enhances skills such as decision-making, communication, team management and problem-solving. DIET Jagraon (District Institute of Education and Training) is an important teacher-training institute located in Jagraon, Punjab.
